This simple high key studio lighting shows the shape of the model and the clothes perfectly.

I would love to experiment with using this classic and glamorous spotlight lighting to create a classic glam look to my photographs within this project.

This image inspires me because of the simple lighting and simple fashion.  The white background contrasted against the black of the model's dress creates a strong photograph.

This image is all about the shapes of the model's clothing.  You cannot really see the model's face that well but just the shape of her headpiece and the clothing.  There are a variety of tones throughout the image which I feel adds depth to the overall aesthetic of the photograph.

This photograph and their work on the Paris Vogue September 2012 issue has inspired me not just in this project but also in the future to create an entire project based around black and white fashion and photography.
