Trend Research

I changed my idea to taking photographs in the studio of trends because I wanted to relate my work to a high fashion culture.  I have researched fashion trends so that I can do an up-to-date photo-shoot that relates to the real world of fashion here and now.

These are some of the key trends that really caught my eye which I'd like to explore throughout this project.

New Look:

I really wanted these shoes to go with the tartan outfit I have styled but have put them in as research because they are one of the ideas I had for the shoes.

I also went into New Look and wrote down all the trends that were in the store.

• Dark reds, browns, dark purples, dark blues, satchel bags, knitwear, huge scarves, black and whites, tweeds, dark greens, vintage and lace.
